Slacker...

Ok, ok... I know I am a terrible slacker! The daily peeps is becoming the monthly peeps! YIKES! I am going to try harder to keep this thing up and running, pinky promise! ;)

So there is this little thing we have grown to love.... a little thing we like to call 2 BUCK CHUCK! ;) When you are living on an extremely tight budget, $2 Wine is a girls best friend!! hehehe....

What exactly is 2 buck chuck you say?? Here is the story we heard. Not sure if its true or not, but it is what we are going by so just go with it!

Charles Shaw created this amazing wine, only to end up with a crappy marriage! When he got divorced his ex-wife won 1/2 the profits of his Wine in the divorce. Obviously bitter and upset about his ex getting any part of his wine profits, Charles reduced the price of his wine to $2 a bottle so his ex-wife wouldn't get a damn dime! Hence the birth of 2 BUCK CHUCK!

Great story huh? We like it at least ;)

So after spending many wonderful evenings with 2 buck chuck, I thought I would share a few lovely pictures and stories! Enjoy!

One of our first nights out! Went to Cass Street bar to meet up with Sandman (one of Kt's friends). Sandman happened to bring a buddy of his with and it was Suzay! Tina and I were pretty excited to see Suzay (for those that don't know, we met him back in september when we visited). It turned into a pretty crazy night hopping from bar to bar, singing karaoke with the bums, taking bathroom photo shoots, 4-3-2-1-1-2-3-4 and still can't get into the bar, fruit rollup hooka shotgunning, and multiple blisters the next day!

At a point of desperation, I grabbed Lacey one day and hit the streets of La Jolla in search of a job. I printed off 20 resumes to drop at every Art Gallery I could find, and I got rid of them all! I also went door to door of every shop and asked for an application. It was about 3 or 4 hours of hell, but it was time to find a job! After I finally gave away the last resume, I took Lacey to a little cove in La Jolla called "Childs Pool". It was originally bulit so the children of the area had a beach to go to and a place to swim. After a little while the Seals found this nice little cove and took over, and so it now belongs to them. It had become a little tourist spot and a breeding home for the Seals.

Tina's 24th birthday celebration! Upon moving to SD, Tina has been craving Italian food pretty much everyday, but all we eat is asian and mexican! All that seems to be here lol! Lacey and I happened to come across an Olive Garden one day out running errands, and we both knew instantly thats where we had to take Tina for her bday. She LOVED it! I dont think any of us have ever eaten so fast in our lives. The waiter prbly thought we were some poor starved girls...
After dinner we came back to the house for some cake and of couse 2 buck chuck! lol... To Tina's surprise we managed to make her favorite Dirt Cake! (Thanks to Jaci giving Lacey the recipe) After cake we had no choice but to hit up the Silver Fox! ($2 u call its all night!) It was a crazy fun night!

Valentine's Day! The neighbor boys wanted to take us out for a "F$% Valentines Day" celebration. So us girls got all dolled up and met up with the boys after a few glasses of 2 buck chuck! The surprised us all with red roses... it was very sweet! We then all headed downtown to go clubbing. We ended up at Onyx which was very nice and a ton of fun and a little crazy as well! We danced the night away until Tray-Lo had a little too much fun and ended up spending a little too much time in the ladies room! One of the guys told Tina to go check on me and as she turned the corner in the bathroom she saw a girl holding a large handfull of brown hair in the doorway of a stall... Tina was like "i think thats my friend" and as she peeked in the stall I was like "Tina.... I wanna go home...." Oops! lol Not so much fun at the time, but a great story! Def a valentine's that will not be forgotten.

oh and Tina got some pretty red roses too! Lucky Girl!

Since moving to CA we have one obsession... DONKEY! Not sure exactly how or why. Tina started it and it has stuck ever since lol! So we got a little donkey and he serves as our mascot! Tingalayo is his name and we love him dearly, especially when its 2 buck chuck time!!

There have been many other crazy nights with 2 Buck Chuck and I am sure there are many more to come!!!!
